Adelaide Schwartz is Associate General Counsel at Temerity Capital Partners. She helps oversees legal, compliance, and regulatory matters for Temerity and select portfolio companies.
Adelaide enjoys working with companies that seek to provide superior services to institutional change agents and traditionally underserved clients. She started her legal career focused on international development as an MD Anderson Legal Fellow at the World Bank where she primarily worked with West African governments on infrastructure and fiscal projects. Adelaide worked as a general practitioner in Texas where she helped to litigate and advise small businesses in corporate law matters and families in probate, estate, and property issues. Frustrated by the legal discovery process, Adelaide transitioned to legal tech startup, CS Disco, where she managed internal project attorney teams for small to Am Law 100 sized law firms tackling national anti-trust and white-collar crime cases.
Adelaide holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
